Louisiana Department of Health recommends private water well owners disinfect drinking water following Hurricane Ida

Affected water wells must be first disinfected then thoroughly flushed before a sample of water is collected for analysis by the Office of Public Health, which has set up a temporary laboratory in Berwick.

Emergency Prescription Assistance Program now live in Louisiana

EPAP is designed to assist people without health insurance in a federally-identified disaster area with replacing prescription drugs, vaccinations, medical supplies and other equipment that they need, free of charge.
